Here I am, after a very long journey from the cold of Switzerland I just land at Brisbane airport.
I grab a Uber and directly go to my Airbnb room wich is located just outside Brisbane, in a neighborhood called Wynnum.
I don't know yet but it is a rich and peacefull place with beautiful houses, it will be perfect to rest for a couple of days.
Now it's time to move to Brisbane city center.
The train arrives directly with a beautiful view on the CBD buildings! My next apartment is at the end of "West end" area which is a pretty cool neighborhood with a lot of bars, restaurants and cafes.
From here you can easily walk to the river and enjoy the "South Bank Parklands", public pool, Wheel of Brisbane and others activities.
The famous "Wheel of Brisbane"
The best advice I have is to use the bicycles service, they are available for free for 30min everywhere in the city! Don't forget the ferries, CityHooper is also free to use and give you a beautiful view of the Story Bridge, the most scenic attraction of the city!

Stay at night, the bridge is illuminated! You have to go at "Wilson Outlook Reserve" to have that view.
When you are a bit tired of the crowd in the CBD area you must go to the "Botanic Garden", it's a great parc with tropical vegetations and many birds.
With less than one hour boat ride, you can also go to "Lone pine koala sanctuary", a sort of Zoo with a concentration of the most famous Australian wildlife.
You can feed kangaroos or even cuddle koalas if they are not too lazy...
